Selective Pallet Rack System
Selective pallet rack systems have three main components including racks, pallets and forklifts or other types of material handling equipment. Each component is chosen based on the product, storage demands, working positioning system and the type of management used in the facilities.
More aisle space is required for this type of pallet racking system, so the storage density is less than with other pallet racking systems. However, selective racks are very flexible and can accommodate a large variety of load sizes, weights and volumes.
